Post-cycle recovery

It's advised to AAS patients to use small amounts of HCG (250IU to 500IU) two days each week, right from the beginning of the cycle. This serves to maintain testicular form and function. It makes more sense to me to keep the horse in the barn, so to speak, then to have to chase it across three counties later on.

Any more than 500IU of HCG per day causes too much aromatase activity. Some feel aromatase is actually toxic to the Leydig cells of the testes. You are then inducing primary hypogonadism (which is permanent) while treating steroid-induced secondary (hypogonadotrophic) hypogonadism (which is temporary--hopefully).

If 250IU or 500IU on two days each week isn't enough to stave off testicular atrophy, then I recommend using it more days each week (as opposed to taking larger doses). In fact, I wouldn't mind having a guy use 250IU per day ALL THROUGH the cycle. Those that have tell me they thus avoid that edgy, burned-out feeling they usually get. They also say they simply feel better each day. Subjective reports, to be sure, but they are hard not to appreciate. Especially when HCG is so inexpensive.

The testes are then ready, willing and able to again produce testosterone at the end of the cycle. LH levels rise fairly rapidly, but endogenous testosterone production is limited by lack of use. I also want to make sure a SERM, such as clomid or Nolvadex, is at effective serum dosage (around 100mg QD for clomid, 20-40mg QD for Nolvadex) when serum androgen levels drop to a concentration roughly equal to 200mg of testosterone per week. That is when androgenic inhibition at the HP no longer dominates over estrogenic antagonism with respect to inducing LH production. Of course, if the fellow has been doing clomid or Nolvadex all along the way (and I now prefer Nolvadex over clomid, due to the possibility of negative sides from the clomid), he is all set to simply continue it at the end (no need to switch from one to the other). BTW, I see no evidence of any benefit in using BOTH SERM's at the same time. I used to think a couple of weeks of the SERM was enough; now I like to see an entire month after the last shot of AAS (and migration of long to short esters as the cycle matures). Tapering the SERM is probably a good idea during the last week, as well.

I want my patients to stop taking HCG within a week after the end of the cycle. The testosterone production it induces will further inhibit recovery, as will using Androgel, or any other testosterone preparation, while in recovery. There is no escaping this, as there is no such thing as a "bridge". Just because you are not inhibiting the HPTA for the entire 24 hours does not mean you are not suppressing it at all. IOW, you can't "fool" the body it is smarter than you are.

Arimidex during the cycle (in fact, consider use of an AI while taking aromatisables a necessity) but it ABSOLUTELY should not be used post cycle (even though it has been shown to increase LH production) because the risk of driving estrogen too low, and therefore further damaging an already compromised Lipid Profile, is too great (this also drives libido back into the ground and we don't want that, do we?).

Illness During a Steroid Cycle

What to do if you get sick during a cycle and can’t train properly or your body obviously just doesn’t have the energy to gain?

Its better not to change plans when an illness likely will have you down for only a few days, but end the cycle if it’s likely to be about a week or more.

As mentioned so many times, ending a cycle early allows the next cycle to start earlier, completely compensating for the change in schedule. It’s not really a loss at all. You could start the next cycle as soon as you’ve completed the same number of weeks “off” that you had been “on,” or if you wish to be more conservative, twice that time. This will be much sooner than would be the case if you’d continued the cycle despite the illness. You won’t be setting yourself back overall.

If your testosterone was good before the cycle and the cycle length has been fairly short, such as 8 weeks or less, in most cases recovery will be good simply from using a SERM as PCT. (The most common choices are Clomid or Nolvadex.)

However, if and only if you suspect recovery of natural testosterone might be slow, then I’d suggest also using in PCT either HCG or low-dose testosterone, such as 100 mg/week.

This is because we don’t want the immune system adversely affected by testosterone dropping too low.

Intermediate steroid doses – not enough for real gains, yet too much for recovery of the HPTA – are a waste of your time. Either be on-cycle, or in recovery. Whatever muscle loss may occur while ill will be easily recovered on regaining health. Again, ending steroid use earlier will allow restarting earlier, and this will be much more productive than trying to avoid losses while ill.

In short, optimize your usage. And using anabolic steroids while down and unable to train is not optimizing usage.

Health problems caused by Trenbolone use and how to avoid them

Trenbolone is one of the most powerful steroids, with amazing bulking characteristics. It’s about 3 times more potent than many other AAS. But how everything comes with a price, the side effects associated with tren use are the harshest.

Back in time in 90’s the average norm of Parabolan, a form of tren, was around 50 gr weekly.  This dosage is equal with 50 gr of tren. Another form of tren, Finaject, was used in the same dosage but 2-3 times a week. In those time, 50 gr per week was considered a pretty high, especially in US.

In Europe such a dosage was taken daily and considered normal. Nowadays, most of trainee use tren in even larger dosage, around 75 gr-100gr/day.

As we said, tren is a powerful steroid. 50 gr of tren is equal with 150gr of any other steroid, which is huge for a daily use. Going with larger dosage comes hand in hand with a range of side effects that in worst cases are irreversible.

Night sweats and reduced cardio capacity are two of the most common complains with tren use. We talked about them in one of our previous post. Click on the text link to read it entirely. We’ve found an explanation for reduced cardio capacity and way you can improve it, while night sweats have no obvious reasons. The only recommendation we mentioned than that can help avoid the night sweats as much as possible is to get the room as cool as it is possible. Also, the user who faces this issue, may also use beach towels in order to sop up the sweat.

Behavior issues, also known as roid rage, are very frequent with tren. Tren aggravates the aggression level, but it does not contain substances that modify the behaviour as many illicit drugs do.

A solution is to be aware of this aggression and try to control it. Many individual use in the gym, working out more aggressively and getting much better result. There is no need for tren aggression to be addressed with medication. Having a strong sense of control over it helps in much higher degree than any drug can do.

Sleep problems, aside of sweating, are also a concern. Sleep-aiding supplements are a solution, or limiting the intake of coffee is also of great help.

Libido issue including erectile dysfunction is also possible with tren. The main cause for this is the increased level of Prolactin. Adding testosterone to your tren cycle is a good way to stay away of prolactin side effects.

Increased blood pressure, hair loss or acne are also possible when tren taken, but they are quite rare. In most cases they occur when there are already health issues and they just worsen the condition. The chances for a healthy men to get acne, hair loss or increased blood pressure because of tren are reduced. But individuals prone to some of these conditions should not take tren at all.

Trenbolone dosage
Some bodybuilder do great with 50 gr of tren per day, while others encounter problems and have to go with lower dosage. Even at 30-35 gr per day some people develop serious side effects, and in these cases the best is to resort to other steroids with same properties.

The lucky ones are those who can take up to 100 gr daily of tren with no real problems at all.

Trenbolone Stacks
Basic tren cycle will always include testosterone, because of suppression action of tren on natural testosterone. The recommended dosage is about 50 gr daily for each of them for no longer than 8 weeks. If you do well with such a dosage, you can go with higher dose and longer time next time you are cycling. This is bulking cycle, while for cutting tren is good to be mixed with Winstrol or Anavar.

Advanced Trenbolone cycle
Such a cycle has a duration of 10-12 weeks and also include testosterone. Deca-Durabolin is a great addition for immense muscle gains.

When it comes to cutting and dieting with tren, you are free to choose for a wide range of option. Equipoise or Winstrol are two of many cutting drugs you can mix tren with.

Conclusion
Trenbolone is a powerful anabolic steroid which can cause a range of serious side effects if abused or taken wrongly. Go with lower dosage and increase the attention on diet and workout for fewer side effects and great results. Observe the way you body react to tren use, since even on 30 gr daily some people may experience serious health problems. Cease it and opt for other similar steroids less powerful but still very efficient whether it’s about bulking or cutting.

Primobolan – Lean Mass And Fast Fat Burning Agent

Meet the king of steroids, Primobolan.
Although this is subject to argument, it is considered one of the safest and oldest steroids in the market.  The fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger mentioned it a couple of times in his documentary Pumping Iron has added to its credibility.  The most popular body builder of all time was a primo buddy.  Not bad, not bad at all.

If you are using just primobolan and not using other steroids or supplements, the injectable is ideal to be administered twice a week.  PCT should be 5 days after the last dose of injection.  When taken orally, 100 mg everyday of Primobolan tablets for 8 weeks followed by Clomixyl 50mg every day for week 9-11  plus 2 liters of water everyday all throughout the cycle would be recommended.

Discussing the Negatives
Since Primobolan is a very mild steroid, it is considered one of the safest.  Any drug taken excessively can cause liver diseases.  Primo can also cause fluctuations in cholesterol levels and can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Its mildness can also be a cause of addiction and over dependency.

Just worth mentioning that while body builders commonly use steroids, Primobolan has been known to reduce tumor sizes since it can reduce the excretion of nitrogen in tissues.  It has been recommended to women suffering breast cancer.  It is said to reverse the effects of anemia.

Measure Twice, Cut Once: Things To Know About Steroids Before Using

Sylvester Stallone, Mark Wahlberg, Wayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and of course the most famous body builder of all time, Arnold Schwarzenegger, just to name a few, had the bodies that any men would aim for. But the cuts and abs did not just happen overnight, neither did it happen just by hardcore heavy lifting, no matter how much they would like to claim that it is just all hard work.

There are just some things in life that happen when we hasten the process.

If we are going to create an action plan for someone who just want to start out or wants to enhance one’s fitness program, what should be the course that we need to follow?

Step 1

Before anything else, make sure that all the bases are covered. Know what you are getting yourself into. Make sure that you are not suffering from any medical condition. Make sure that the diet that you are in is ideal for gaining muscles. Start slow. Search and research for the steroid cycle that would really work for you.

There are hundreds of steroid cycles and it would really depend on the results that you want and choosing what is best for you and your body.

Starting Slow

Injured during cycle: what to do?

Everyone has had those days when they’ve woken up sore. Maybe you slept in a weird position or had a particularly intense work out the day before. You get up, You shake it off, You don’t let it get in your way.

So where is the proverbial line in the sand that says “this is more than just sore! Give it a break!” Unfortunately, no such line exists and it’s really up to you to decide when you’re pushing it too hard.

But to help you, here are a few questions to consider:
  • Has the pain been around for more than a day?
  • Do you feel the pain when you’re not working out?
  • Is the pain affecting your training?
  • Is the pain affecting your everyday life?

If your answer to these questions was “yes” then you should probably consider quitting your cycle and giving yourself time to recuperate.

Frustrated? Thinking about continuing anyway? Before you make a short term choice, think about the effects it could have on your long term training.

Frustration is better than an aggravated injury.

When looking for major gains, a minor injury can be frustrating part way through a cycle. But continuing to push yourself when you can’t get the whole benefit of the cycle is detrimental to your body in more ways than one. Quitting outright means that your injuries will absolutely heal.

You can’t know what rep or exercise will be the one that pushes a minor pain into months of rehab. The risk is too great when you can stop and restart fresh after the injury heals. The gains you make on an injury if you do manage to finish the cycle will be noticeably lower than if you stopped and restarted at full speed. If you’re really looking to take the cycle seriously, wait it out until you’re feeling fit.

Quit while you’re ahead and Get back in the Game Faster

Another benefit of quitting can be chalked up to simple math. In the world of steroid cycles, the general rule is to start your next cycle after taking a break the length of your previous cycle.

Let;s take an example. If you’re in week 3 of a 10 day cycle and your ankle just isn’t feeling right, (popping, clicking, sore) quitting right then would only mean waiting 3 weeks to start again.

Whereas if you fought through 7 more weeks letting your ankle hold you back a little bit more every day, then you would get poor results and have to wait 2 more months before you could start again. 3 is less than 7. Simple math.

It’s Not About the Steroids, It’s About the Training.

Everyone who is serious about steroid cycles knows that taking steroids on their own is not what gets the user muscle gains. Steroids are there to supplement training and give you that little something extra to get the most out of every workout. Training is where the battle is really won.

Taking this into consideration, continuing on a cycle with an injury is knowingly selling yourself short. It’s accepting that your gains will be lesser than they could be, and wasting time committing with your whole heart but not your full strength.

At the end of the day, the choice is up to you. Maybe you’re working toward a competition and you feel it can’t wait, or maybe you’re just really excited and think that will over ride the pain. Whatever it is, make sure to actually calculate the risk before making your final decision.
